The hard Southwest wind blow is over now, we have had couple of days of light wind, and high pressure creating two beautiful days to fish. The Spanish mackerel are biting again,at theĀ AR-370 Artificial Reef. I noticed several good size barracuda cruising the surface yesterday. The 10 mile rock area has a few scattered king mackerel, large live menhaden,on light tackle will produce some, king mackerel action. The south side of the jetty wall at Wrightsville Beach had a descent Spanish mackerel bite yesterday, the clear water seemed to be holding the fish.
